Thanks to the generosity of the local community, during the 2011 Toys for Tots campaign, 12273 toys were distributed to 4312 less fortunate children in this area. We look forward to working with everyone again in 2012. Thank you.

If you are in need of help, please sign up for help with the
Salvation Army or the Jackson County Sheriff department.

Join us this year on December 3rd for the 'Elf On The Roof' special event at Sportsman's Warehouse!

This December 3rd please join us for the 2011 Rogue Valley Toy Run to promote a fun and safe local community event that benefits people in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon.  The Rogue Valley Toy Run was originally held on the first Saturday in December 1980.  It was held on that first Saturday of December and has been held on that day ever since.  It is one the oldest toy runs in the USA.  It is open to all street legal motorcycles, regardless of make.  All of the toys collected go to local families in need and all cash proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network based at the Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford Oregon.  Find us on facebook.

A word from our Coordinator:

Last year, the poor national economy hit Toys for Tots coordinators across the country. Not only were corporate gift in-kind donations down but the deployment of the Marine Reservist to the far corners of the world left many groups low on volunteers. Volunteers are needed to pick up and collect the toys. They also arrange for the toy distribution. You might see volunteers instead of Marines at your events this year.

Committed to helping children of Jackson County, the Marine Corps Toys for Tots and Salvation Army are working together to bring toys – and smiles – to the children in need in Jackson County this holiday season. Look for a Toys for Tot box drop off location, we will accept new, unwrapped toys from November 24 through December 20. Toys for Tots will be supplying the toys to Salvation Army's toy drive along with supporting many other non-profit toys drives in the Jackson County area.

As the Coordinator of Jackson County Toys for Tots, I am honored to be working with so many wonderful volunteers and businesses in Southern Oregon. The need this year is great, but, so are the hearts of everyone in Jackson County. Together we will make this a successful toy drive.

Merry Christmas,

Monte Fraser

Jackson County Marine Corps Toys for Tots Coordinator
